I kept thinking about the lace my great grandmother made by hand. Sewing and making have been passed down through generations in my family.

Goldfish also often appear in my work. I noticed them in tile work across Spain and seen as symbols of abundance and prosperity.

Patterns repeat in different ways. In materials, in places, in memory. Some growth is not something you see right away. You feel it first.
