Shipping Policy

How is my artwork shipped?

  • Canvas Artwork: Original paintings up to 36x48 inches are professionally packed with protective padding and sent gallery wrapped on stretchers, accompanied by a signed certificate of authenticity. All original paintings are fully insured against damage and loss. Should your artwork arrive damaged, please contact us immediately.

Paintings larger than 36x48 inches are shipped via custom freight. For paintings created off stretchers, they will be shipped as rolled canvas.

  • Fine Art Paper Prints: Paper prints are rolled and shipped in protective tubes. We strive to consolidate shipments into as few packages as possible. All paper prints are sent via USPS and/or UPS.

When will I receive my artwork?

  • Original Artwork: Orders are typically processed and shipped within 2-4 weeks. If additional studio time is required, we will contact you directly to provide an updated timeline.

  • Fine Art Prints: Each print is made to order using high-quality archival materials, with typical delivery within 4 weeks domestically. For international orders, please allow an additional 1-2 weeks.

How is shipping calculated?

  • Original Artwork: Shipping costs are included in the purchase price for all domestic sales. For an estimate of shipping charges, please refer to the UPS shipping calculator using 23222 as the ship-from zip code.

  • Fine Art Prints: A flat shipping rate is applied at checkout based on the item size and destination.

Can artwork be shipped internationally?

  • Original Artwork: We offer international shipping for original paintings. After your purchase, you will receive an invoice for shipping costs, which must be paid prior to dispatch. Note that import duties and taxes, including VAT, may apply and are the responsibility of the customer. All sales of original artwork are final, so please review the estimated shipping costs before completing your purchase.

Duty/Taxes: All items shipped internationally may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), incurred upon reaching your destination country. Melissa Casanova Art is not responsible for these charges, and they must be paid by the recipient.
